Kim recently admitted that they will not be doing the sloppy tits party this year. He claims "everybodthing is about the Seahawks now" and it wouldn't be right to have the party the first week of February
Translation: People are leaving my shitty website in droves and we wouldn't be able to sell tickets.

Just curious - how many doogmen usually showed up to these events in the past?
I'm not a dm member, but I always just shook my head at how the LPT for a 2 or 3 years would always plaster on their front page that photo of some random 40 yr old fat barfly with ginormous tits. Such a loser move.
I went to one of the events ... there was maybe 100-125 people that showed up tops.
It was literally one of the worst events that I've ever seen or attended in my life ... Pepsi and I sitting around talking UW Football while I spill drinks on him is about 100x more entertaining than a Doogman sponsored event.

I would like to hear more about your experience at this event

Need details of this shit show.
Agree. Would appreciate a TL;DR story time on this.
Before even getting to the event itself, the Dub Pub is something that needs to be talked about. In concept, it's a great idea. But as with most things, location is always critical. And not only is it buried in a shopping complex behind a Jack in the Box (not the best place to have a good sports bar), but the parking for the location is an absolute joke. For the signing day event, I think I had to park about 3-4 blocks away from the bar in a residential neighborhood because the amount of parking available in a suburban shopping complex is limited.
What you realize very quickly if you are around the LPT is that what they think is cool is actually far from cool.
Instead of setting up the event such that they were the center of attention and made it easy for everybody to feel included and part of the event, they put themselves in a position where they were as far removed as possible from everybody else. The tables around them were reserved for the "insiders" like Butler Cabin who quite frankly gives off a vibe in person every bit like the vibe that he gives out anywhere else.
The general acoustics of the event was also flat out bad. Because of the set up location, the further away you got from the LPT, the more mumbled jumbled the sound. It got to the point that you just turned to the people around you and talked during anything the LPT was doing. Flat out terrible ... particularly considering that they were being backed by KJR.
Most of the event centered around the LPT flashing recruiting videos on an endless loop that you could have gathered off of their website and them calling up guys after they had signed their LOI with ridiculous interviews that talked about nothing in particular, asked the kids what the one meal that they were going to miss from mom, and asking them to bark like a dog. The part that made the whole thing so bad was that instead of having the call dialed in professionally such that everybody could hear it, they instead made the call from KJV's cell phone. He'd then put the call on speaker and then put a microphone next to the phone to project. It's somehow even worse than it sounds.
I'm sure others could give more behind it than I did. I ended up talking to the Pepsi's and a couple of other people that were there for most of the time. They had a buffet breakfast that they advertised that was just flat out terrible. They would have been better served by just having people order off of the regular menu.
lol, I loved how KG was hyping that event for months in advance. The fact that the only way to register was to call the Scout call center to reserve your ticket like it was still 1990 was a dead giveaway that the event would be a bush league shit show. I'm sorry you wasted your money and time at such a disaster of an event.

I got the day off ... so it wasn't a waste. Plus, I showed up late so I didn't have to sit through too much of it.
In the grand scheme of things, the money wasn't that much ... so it wasn't that big of a deal. the stories that came from it were far worth the money spent.
Nothing makes me cringe more than poorly put together events, especially when the assumption is there is ample money backing it. Sounds like a fifth of Jack and blow couldn't revive that mess.
I'm not a party planner, but i'm a successful networker and easily read cues of discomfort or recognize when a crowd is displeased and make adjustments to alleviate the situation. It's alarming that the leading website for the University, in an industry requiring people skills and awareness, is run by a troupe so oblivious to the basics.
Washington deserves to be represented by the best, but if that is unachievable it should be rock bottom competent.

KG is particularly proud that he asks unique and more personal questions that only he thinks of, not the generic stuff that the other reporters ask. Too bad he sounds like a fuckin pedophile when he's prying away about what they will miss about home.

I thought it might be around 10-12.5 people.

Embarrassing.
