How do you know? Were you a D-1 recruit? Are we dealing in hypotheticals here?DerekJohnson said:

DJ doesn't sound edgy. Would've been a perfect Peterman recruit at a church school.DerekJohnson said:

You get hounded when you commit by the dawgman staff. They need to know shower or fridge!!!!1!1!!TTJ said:
Do these guys get hounded more or less after they commit? Debatable.AtomicDawg said:Because you don't want to skype or be hounded for an interview by a creepy 450lbs man that thinks it's cool to wear overalls every day of your existence once you commit to the school of your choice. Simple fact.

I think the media built this machine over the last 5-10 years. Recruiting sites offering to show "what they know" and fans eating it up has created the attention whores.
I will say that some kids probably don't know. It's similar to leaving college and having a few job offers where there are pro's and cons and if given a set deadline many of us would likely get right to it before pulling the trigger.
And let's be honest, if you could schedule 5 free visits to drink and pound whores all weekend and be on top of the world at the age of 18, WTF ISN'T DOING THAT? -
Idiot fanboys really care about this shit and they feed the attention whores.DerekJohnson said:is wanting to wait until Signing Day before announcing your school of choice.
Why not help out your new team by making it clear as soon as you've decided? And if you're a big name, the sooner you announce the more likely you are to help influence other name recruits to head to your new team too.

what prevents the recruit from telling other recruits separate from the announcement?
Abundance. -
That other recruits will probably let the cat outta the bag by making a mistake to the media or something.doogville said:what prevents the recruit from telling other recruits separate from the announcement?
