...since Keith Price emphasized that 7 wins is no longer good enough: “We all know that the success of the team and the offense starts with us,” said Riva, a junior from O’Dea High School. “If we don’t get it done, then the offense won’t produce. That’s definitely been our sole focus: getting the offense to where it was in 2011 and having Keith (Price) be comfortable.”

Meanwhile, later that day Steve Sarkisian was trying to figure out how recruiting elite OLs can lead to good success on the field, and dan cozzetto was seen yelling at some young kids that had come to watch practice.

I know a couple of former players (Kyle Benn and Jamal Fountaine) who think Cozzetto is a high quality coach. But obviously a lot of us don't see many redeeming qualities in his coaching history.

Well, I just look at results. Horrible recruiting classes and high sack totals.

The last time Cozzetto has coached a strong OL was in the late 90's at ASU. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. I'm sure he knows his shit, and has strong recommendations from a lot of coaches and former players, but who cares? It's a what have you done for me lately world, and Cozzetto hasn't done anything substantial since Snyder got fired at ASU.

    Coz is Sark's Kent Baer.

The root of the problem is the head coach. I bet Coz would be awesome if Harbaugh or Chip Kelly were his boss.

At the recruiting banquet, Coz basically intimated that he'd be gone if the OL doesn't produce this season.

I thought Holt was Sark's Baer.

Agree otherwise though. Using Coz as the next fall guy in line is just another miserable and pathetic excuse for defending a head coach that is clearly not the best coach available for the job.

Coz = Bear because he may save Sark's job for an extra year.

Been there, done that. Despite the defense's faults in 2012, Wilcox did enough to save Sark's ass.

I think you are right. It's not that I necessarily think Coz is terrible, he is probably average. With the right coach, he would probably look good again ala Randy Hart.

Sark is the real problem with the OL, but Coz's group has been bad four years in a row. Not to mention the recruiting issues. I know Coz is not the main recruiter for guys outside of Arizona, but the position coach plays a key role in recruiting. If we were winning ten games a year, it probably wouldn't reall matter, but we aren't.

How many more opportunities does Sark need before these idiots realize what we realize?

He's coaching at a major conference school in a big market, has recruited at a top 25+ level four straight years, we have experience, has a high priced brand new defensive staff plus new offensive coaches.

At what point does this all fall on Sark? If they fire Cozz and Sark still keeps his job I'll be pissed off. I think this should be it for Sark and Pool Boy(abundance).

Unfortunately you guys are all right and I've even said they'll fire Cozz to save Sark one more year after UW goes 8-5(If Sark goes 7-6 with this bullshit schedule he is the worst coach in the conference).

If the Huskies go 8-5 this year, Sark will be extended...not merely saved. Woodward is that stupid.

He'll have to make staff changes to save himself for 7-6. A losing record should be automatic door.ass.out.

An 8-5 should be an automatic door.ass.out.

Of course Sark will get extended and these fucks will give him a huge buy out clause because they'll be "scared" another school will steal him away.

Hopefully the Stadium doesn't sell out like they think and the pressure from upper campus comes down so Pool Boy is out of a job.

I'd rather have someone other than Pool Boy hire our next HC anyways.
