If James wants to win another title, he's going to have to leave Cleveland. The Cavs (they had to) sold their souls to get LeBron. The problem is he is now running the organization. In Miami, Pat Riley was in charge.
LeBron would be scary in San Antonio, Dallas, or Chicago. He needs structure and to be held accountable. The Cavs from the owner down can't offer that.
The biggest bullshit myth with LeBron is he makes his teammates so much better. Who are these players he's made better? A lot of guards will struggle playing with him because he demands the ball so much. The few post oriented big guys in the league will struggle because LBJ prefers the lane open for him to drive.
What will ultimately cement LeBron's legacy one way or the other is how he adapts his game. Tim Duncan has done this better than anyone. His days of being a perimeter oriented player are winding down. Will he ever become a stat stuffing second option or will his ego get in the way?

LeBron played with two other top 20 players and a few good role players in the salary cap era. He's had plenty of help.
They were definitely good enough to be championship caliber teams.
I save great for teams that are in the discussion of all-time great teams.
