Better for the Program in the Long Run if Mariota Goes to the NFL?
MM is great. Best duck QB ever. But it's been proven for 3 straight seasons that he doesn't have that special something that's needed to put the team on his back and go all the way -- that something that Cam Newton and Jameis Winston had. MM choked against Stanford for 2 straight years, then completely choked in the title game. No fucking fire whatsoever in this game. Winston would have been out there stoking his teammates and demanding they play their best ball. The Heisman needed to be earned in that game and it wasn't. Of course it wasn't all his fault. There were many other duck faggots who didn't suit up for the game, both literally and figuratively. A message should be sent to the players by expelling Carrington from the football team. But back to the subject. Maybe its time to move on and start grooming the next Oregon QB.

The sooner you get rid of Mariota, the sooner the dropoff begins, the sooner you get rid of Slingblade.
I hope Mariota comes back and earns Slingblade an extension.
Mariota did what he could to make plays, he didn't drop his own passes. His numbers on the game were good. If you're looking for people to blame for the loss, go to the usual suspects. The linebackers, and the lines got beat on every play. A lot of that is scheme, so the coaching deserves some blame as well.
Or you know, maybe the better fucking team won.
