    Like Billy Joe Hobert, I was in favor of UW playing Miami on the field in 91. I've been in favor of a 16 team playoff since forever.

    Poles are a terrible system of deciding a champeen. But when they're all you got, they're all you got.

    Like Billy Joe Hobert, I was in favor of UW playing Miami on the field in 91. I've been in favor of a 16 team playoff since forever.

    Poles are a terrible system of deciding a champeen. But when they're all you got, they're all you got.
    When they're all you got, and you don't play the same schedule, the result is no more reliable than rhythmic gymnastics or figure skating.

    Ultimately, I think they got it right with the split championship. Even though I obviously think UW was better. (Hi @creepycoug!)
