The kid languishes under Sark, and has a banner season at louisville.

I always knew that kid would ball. Grant High School ain't nothin' to fuck with.

But Seriously, another Sark runoff error. Should have been our enforcer this season next to Budda.

To be fair I don't know if Sample was runoff. Wasn't he homesick?

In any event, the guy would have made a HUGE difference in 2013 and 2014.

A lot of the Grant kids transfer if things don't go their way right off the bat. They are glorified superstars and the fraternity of Grant kids that make the league is very strong. It's a way out, that school is the hood and it's usually what's waiting if football doesn't pan out.

From Samples perspective, there is definitely something to coming to the rainy northwest playing special teams mainly, blowing out your shoulder, then sitting around watching others excel while listening to shitty grunge. I think he was homesick, he went back to American River College which is Sac's local JC, then reassessed where he could go for immediate PT for his last chance. Sucks for us, but great move on his part.

No he wasn't homesick. You don't go to Louisville if from California if you're homesick.

Just like Joel Thomas didn't go to Arkansas to be "closer to his family" when he's from Port Angeles.
He didn't go straight from UW to louisville, did he?

kid wanted to be a safety and the bros wanted him at LB so they buried him in the depth chart.

He was another burnedredshirt that was completely unnecessary. Sark wasted a year of his eligibility playing late 4th quarter garbage time in blowouts (I mean like Oregon State)

I can't to see how badly Sark fucks up USC's roster in a few years.

Taz was the best Safety on the field during the Hawaii game as well. I can only imagine Sample and Taz added to this years defense with Budda at nickel back
