I don't know how stuff like this is done, but wasn't Aaron Rogers a JC transfer?
Can't UW hire a QB consultant to go look at every single JC QB out there... then give his parents a brown paper bag full of cash to get the kid to come to the UW?
And then also do the same thing to get 3-5 big JC OL transfers?
Aaron Rodgers didnt need a tutor and was eligible at UW... He chin the dayse CAL because they had a head coach who was one of the finest developers of QB's in the country.
And dont say we cant get JC players. We got Craig Quesada and Marcus Roberson.

No Thumper, Aaron Rodgers went pro straight from high school. Don't tell me you didnt know that. Also jc olinemen dont pan out at a high rate. They arent in good weight programs at the JC level. . When they catch up their eligibility has expired. For every walter jones their are 20 washouts who play their senior years on their back.
So in summary... QBs might be a good JC option if we can find one that doesn't need to be tutored, but JC OL guys of the appropriate size are harder to find.
Wasn't Dillon a JC guy as well? One of my favorite RBs back in the day.
Dillon was JC and don't forget about Kai Ellis, the creature!
Also Marcel Reece who wasn't a superstar but would have been a pretty good #2 receiver if he didn't have to be the #1. He's turned himself into a very good fullback.

Probably some weird attempt at a whoosh... but decided to google it to get the facts...
"After one year at Butte Community College, Rodgers received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where he played for the California Golden Bears football team from 2003 to 2004."
Now the part I'm curious about is why we have a hard time getting JC transfers... if Cal was able to get one that only had 1 year in at a CC.
Rogers was academically qualified coming out of high school.
Goldson, Reece, Dillon, Ellis, Roberson, Call, Jason Wells (maybe a stretch, but he was decent when healthy). UW has actually gotten some good JC players. It's a fucking shame they pretend the football player's academics matter and won't make it easier to admit more. We could really use them for next year's team.
