Rogers was academically qualified coming out of high school.Thump said:

Aaron Rodgers went pro straight from high school.Thump said:I don't know how stuff like this is done, but wasn't Aaron Rogers a JC transfer?
Can't UW hire a QB consultant to go look at every single JC QB out there... then give his parents a brown paper bag full of cash to get the kid to come to the UW?
And then also do the same thing to get 3-5 big JC OL transfers?
"After one year at Butte Community College, Rodgers received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where he played for the California Golden Bears football team from 2003 to 2004."
Now the part I'm curious about is why we have a hard time getting JC transfers... if Cal was able to get one that only had 1 year in at a CC. -
Wes Call, anyone?JaWarrenJaHooker said:Hugh McElhenny, Warren Moon, Dashon Goldson, and punter Rich Camarillo

Goldson, Reece, Dillon, Ellis, Roberson, Call, Jason Wells (maybe a stretch, but he was decent when healthy). UW has actually gotten some good JC players. It's a fucking shame they pretend the football player's academics matter and won't make it easier to admit more. We could really use them for next year's team.

If you are fucktarded enough to think bringing the WORST QB from the SEC is going to solve UW's problems, you deserve 0-1200.BallSacked said:

That's a fair point. Miles was ninth out of 14 qualified passers in the Pac-12. Driskel was DEAD FUCKING LAST out of 14 in the SEC.BallSacked said:Stats in Pac12 > Stats in SEC.
Noted.

I don't mind the stopgap idea, but Drecksel isn't the guy. -
He was the number 1 JC TE in the country for certain.puppylove_sugarsteel said:John lyon wasnt a 5-star jc recruit
I was a pretty big high school stoner back in the day, but i'm pretty sure i remember 5 stars by his name way back when. Either way, he didn't live up to the hype.
