The playoff is an extra game. If the Buckeyes win they get a neat new trophy that Larry Culpepper and his switched-at-birth twin brother Gary Patterson have been drooling over for months

The requirement for the Rose Bowl has always been: win your conference, play another conference champ (usually Big Ten) and the winner gets the hardware. If we beat Ohio State I won't demand their Sugar Bowel trophy. That's dumb. And kind of mean
