It's under construction, but it's more than an arena, it's pretty much a brand new promenade in the heart of downtown that was previously a huge abandoned section of the train station. It's going to completely revitalize the area. I loved the Sonics as a kid, but am very happy the Kings stayed in Sac, because if we lost them the city would have taken a big hit and most likely the NBA would never comeback.
Seattle will get a team eventually, too much money in the market.
Kings are a shell of themselves without boogie ...
OKC is who I thought they were ... it is looking like I overvalued some of the other teams in the west
Do you mean one of the best teams in the NBA when healthy?
I think I've been very consistent in saying that they were going to be a 50 or so win team this year ... and I still stand behind that. Even you have admitted that they will be in that range (getting possibly as high as the 53 or 54 win range).
They've played a bunch of dreck so far since both Durant and Westbrook have come back. They'll start playing a tougher stretch here coming up. Will be interesting to see how that plays out - starting with their game on Thursday night.
