I've seen taffy stretched less than that whopper. There is something going on in Madison that makes coaching there unattractive. It could be having the former football head coach as AD. Folks pointing to Alvarez may be spot on. This seemed to be a problem at Oregon when Bellotti was the AD and was probably why he was let go. I still remember him going down to the sidelines in Boise to "talk" to Kelly while Boise's defense was thunder fucking (hi Harv) the Ducks offense. It looked like a parent scolding his child on national TV. Alvarez may be doing the same behind closed doors and chasing good coaches off.
