How do you wake up a football team on the first day of fall camp?
Take a hammer, an air horn and go door-to-door.
When Washington opened fall camp Monday, it started early. Since it was the first day, most players were already up by the time their dorm doors were greeted by the hammer.
Offensive lineman Dexter Charles was on his way to breakfast at 6:30 a.m., and the rest of the team followed, making the walk from campus to breakfast at the Founder’s Club inside Alaska Airlines Arena.
Having been through one fall camp already, receiver Jaydon Mickens was up and in the hallway without the aid of a wake-up call.
"You’re not doing that to me this year," Mickens said.
Meanwhile, UCLA is training with the Navy SEALS................

fuck, the crew team wakes up and is ready to run up and down Mount Si at 4:30am and is done before getting breakfast during "pre season" training and tryouts, and thats without some fucktard coach coming and waking them up to make sure they get ready for practice like mommy did in junior high...
the attitude should be... you dont show up, you get left behind, your teammates get better and they pass you on the depth chart.
