The Valley Football Center expansion and renovation plan calls for the addition of 55,000 square feet to benefit student-athletes, the football program and all OSU athletics programs, which serve more than 500 student-athletes participating in 17 sports.
Mike Goodwin, president and CEO of the Oregon State University Foundation, said that anonymous gifts totaling $25 million have been secured for the project. The foundation will lead the effort to raise the $17 million balance to fund the expansion. The project is one of several fund-raising initiatives the foundation will launch in the coming months to continue the momentum of the highly successful $1.1 billion Campaign for OSU.
The football team’s locker room, equipment room and sports training facility all will be expanded as part of the project. Construction is slated to begin after the 2015 football season and to be completed by the start of the 2016 home season, tentatively scheduled for Sept. 24 vs. Boise State University.
The Valley Football Center was originally built in 1990 and expanded in 1996 to serve 90 student-athletes. The Beavers football program has outgrown the current facility as the program now supports 115 student-athletes and three uniform/helmet styles. -

I wish someone would call out that fucker for his "we are a Hail Mary away from being a top 5 team in the country" line he dropped since he doesn't speak about hypothetical scenarios.MikeDamone said:

Reporter: You offered him a position, but he turned it down. Could you see him working on your staff at some point?
Sark: “Honestly, we play Cal Thursday night at 6 o’clock. I don’t speak about hypothetical scenarios.”

Wisconsin is clearly an upgrade versus Utah State. Gave Anderson a platform from which he showed what he could do in a P5 conference and eventually make a move back to the PAC if the right fit was found. A 9-3 regular season last year and a 10-2 regular season this year before the beatdown by Ohio State shows that he can coach in a P5 conference.
IMO, Bielema left because he knew the ceiling on the job. He got to 3 straight Rose Bowls in a period where Ohio State and Michigan were mostly down. There aren't huge recruiting advantages in Wisconsin which requires them to recruit with a wider net. The general perception of the Big10 has been going downward for a while to the point that any job in the SEC West was going to give him a better foundation to recruit from than at Wisconsin.
I think a similar situation is true for Anderson. After 2 years, he's lost to a P5 team in the non-conference each year, Ohio State each year, and laid a bit of an egg on the road each year. You can have a solid program at Wisconsin, but the cards aren't really stacked in your favor unless Michigan and Ohio State fuck up. Add to that that his roots recruiting wise are probably tied out to the West Coast and the move makes a lot of sense for him. -
Ya but still...best big10 team in an awful division to the 2nd worst pac12 job with a barren roster and new QB? Alvarez must be a motherfucker to work for, this doesn't make any sense to me otherwise.
