Can't abide another Alabama NC. Anybody except Alabama, even Oregon. As distasteful as it sounds an Oregon win helps the conference. In my mind I'm actually rooting AGAINST the fucking SEC, not FOR Oregon. At least that's the rationalization. Just like the last time the fighting Swooshes faced an SEC power in the big one, I'll root for whichever team appears to be losing at the moment. I look forward to the game, I just don't care who wins.

Given my rule above (bolded), I expect to spend the better part of that game rooting for Oregon.

If oregon has to play Alabama in the semis then I agree with you. But oregon has a great chance if Alabama only gets a week to prepare for them.
