brian kelly on the other hand has narcissistic personality disorder or something that makes him run his same bullshit, overly pass happy offense regardless of the current situation. if your defense is suspect, you keep them off the fucking football field by running the football with 2 of the most HIGHLY recruited, talented RBs in the country. tell me another team that comes out every single game and gets 2 back to back delay of game penalties every single game this year? why is that? what fucking coach doesn't insert a set of plays to begin the game to get your QB accustomed and comfortable. why can't BK let golson play rather than forcing him to make absurd, overly complex, nonsensical reads after the defense is already dropping 8 because they know BK isn't going to run the football, and even if ND does run the football it's going to be some terrible delay or zone read that everyone in the country can see the qb isnt going to keep it.

i said it last year, i've said it all year this year. brian kelly is a stubborn fool and if he decided to hire an actual offensive coordinator he might have a chance to do well but you're looking at the peak of his football system and everyone in the country has him figured out except a few ND fans.

I can't really argue with much of it. Kelly is a good coach overall but he's not as smart as he thinks that he is. He will on one hand let Everett Golson turn the ball over at an obscene rate and not even consider pulling him, and on the other hand, he'll bench two young safeties (one a 4-star and the other a 5-star) because of a few boneheaded mistakes. He literally replaced one of those safeties with a guy that can only use one arm because of an injury.

The worst part is that ND would be foolish to get rid of him, because they aren't going to get anyone better.
