1. Seven never had a class ranked anywhere near the top 10
2. Hoops recruiting rankings seem a lot more reliable to me - smaller classes, many more chances to scout basketball recruits than football (especially against other top flight kids and not just in their high school system) and highly rated kids spend less time on campus so there's less time for superior/inferior development to bring noise into the rankings.
A top ten hoops class is almost always going to be a great thing for a basketball program.
I agree with everything you stated. My poont was that we couldn't make the ncaa's with 3 first round picks on the roster. Consider me in the camp of prove to me that you can do something with the talent, not just compile recruiting rankings.
Sometimes with the football team, when i'm really pissed or disappointed, I talk shit about how i don't care anymore and don't follow as closely as i used to, but i'm lying.
With the basketball program, I legitimately have lost interest and have no Idea who is on the roster outside of Goss, Jerreaux, and Kemp. I don't care enough to look up the roster in another tab. The dawgpack is embarrassing the times i have seen us lose on tv, the inbounds plays are boys and girls club quality, and Calabro needs a viagra to get excited.

^ Agreed. That's what made me fall in love with UW hoops. That style of play and all of those (mostly local) kids who made it so damn fun to watch. Then Romar committed program suicide by going away with what had brought him success and turning us into a fucking stupid, slow, half court high post bullshit offense. He tried a high post with Aziz Ndaiye LMAO. Romar pretty much lost me forever at that point...and I was more doogish on him than a lot of people on here I think. I met the guy and unlike Ty he actually *is* a legitimately great person and has genuine love for UW. But fuck he can be frustratingly stupid sometimes.

My guess is they'll make a sweet 16 and go like 13-5 and the Doogs will start in with the "I told you sos"....after 4-5 lackluster years..

Can't wait to see them run an effective half court offense in March.
Romar's defense and rebounding with guards who can push the pace on both ends = very good, fun to watch teams.
Romar's high poast half court bullshit = DIAFF.
