There is hope. Remember he was kicked off the team during Spring Ball and did not get a chance to practice with the team until fall camp. He had very little time to prepare in a brand new system. He still needs to prove himself but you have to give him a little more time to develope.
He has descent stats on the year. A 65% completion rate is good. Low interceptions, with just 2 in 10 games. Seems like missing out on the off-season may have set him back some. Hopefully they will let him sling it around some more so he can produce some more offense.
Have you guys actually watched him play? Stats are for losers and so are excuses. He plays scared and his mind freezes against the rush. Lindquist didn't throw interceptions either because his ball is as uncatchable as Miles grounders

He plays better when expectations are relaxed at the end of halves or when they're getting beat. But that's a pretty small "but still".
Motherfuckers better get ready for Miles the next two years. I'm hoping Williams or Browning steps up because I don't think Miles has the juice, but there's a decent chance Miles is gonna be the guy next year as well, whether or not we think he has a chance to be a good QB.
I'd like to see what Williams can do in weather that isn't a windstorm.

Browning is not in my area that I scout so I have not seen much of him. But I will try and get some information a watch some film on him and give you guys my opinion.
What you like about Miles is that he has shown an ability to have a relatively high completion rate and low INT rate.
What you don't like about Miles is that he tends to have a paralysis by analysis effect, doesn't anticipate throws well, and his yards per attempt/completion numbers tells me that his completion percentage numbers are probably a little misleading.
It wouldn't shock me if Miles is the QB next year ... but I sure wouldn't be too excited about it.
I understand exactly where you guys are coming from and trust me he has to prove to me that he has the poise to stand in the pocket under pressure and make the accurate throw and the right decision. But let's face it, based on the other 2 QB's i have seen it's clear he is our best option right now. So let's see how he performs during the last few games before we write him off. We are not going to the rose bowl so let see how these kids develop under Coach Pete.

Is Browning THAT good?
