Meet the 2013 Tennessee Titans

Drafting him in the top 10 was the much bigger joke. Fortunately for Jake, his contract is guaranteed through 2014. The case will be closed after that season.IrishDawg22 said:
And based on that standard, you would have pulled the plug on the QBs I mentioned earlier. I know the fan base of each of those teams is thanking God you are not their GM.greenblood said:
I like facts, and when your numbers mirror Joey Harrington, you should move to safety.IrishDawg22 said:
Sorry, just saw your resume. I will defer to you with ALL of you NFL GM experience.greenblood said:
Locker was drafted for his physical potential. A dumbass owner in Tennessee figured that hey, this guy is fast, tall, and has a cannon, maybe if we teach him some smarts he'll be great!!! Problem is, smarts as it turns out is as important if not more important than physical ability and Locker doesn't have it. Locker isn't quarterback smart, sorry to hurt your feelings.IrishDawg22 said:
Are you serious??? Wow, thanks for the tip.greenblood said:
Passer rating is the equivalent of an efficiency rating in basketball. It's not just 1 stat. You might want to wiki passer rating. It factors completions, yards, touchdowns, INT, and attempts. Locker may carry solid bulk numbers, but fact is, he wasn't efficient.IrishDawg22 said:
Thanks for cherry picking 1 stat.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
Jake's in the record books because he started 40 games. He accumulated numbers by playing a lot, not by playing well.IrishDawg22 said:
My God, does anyone on here know anything about Husky football? Go get a coffee and browse through the Husky record book.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
Dude was 15-25 as a starting QB in his Husky career. If that makes him a legend, that means the football program is more fucked than any of us feared.IrishDawg22 said:
Please take off you Sonny jersey before you post.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
It's not hate to point out how mediocre Jake Locker was as a college quarterback. The facts and the stats speak for themselves.IrishDawg22 said:
I bet you are one of these young Husky fans that talk about how great Sonny was @ QB. Even with those numbers and record, he is a Husky Legend after all.greenblood said:
How's Lockner doing for you on Madden 2014?IrishDawg22 said:I bet a lot of fans are glad this guy isn't a GM. What would he have done with these guys in their first couple of years...
Eli Manning 48% 53% 57% 56%
Peyton 56% 28 INT
Brees 59% 31 INTs 1st 2 full seasons
Flaco 57% in yr 4
The performances by RGIII and RW were very rare, and almost every QB in the history of the NFL would be considered a failure when compared to their rookie season.
Maybe give the guy more than 1 full season before Nostradumbass considers it a complete failure.
The hate for Jake cracks me up.
He IS a Husky Legend.
I noticed you don't bother to reference any of his stats...I can't imagine why.
You might see Jake's name once or twice.
So he played for 2 of the worst coaches in Husky history, but the record is put at his doorstep?
Sorry, you can't have it both ways.
Here are the career leaders by passer rating for Husky QBs (source, minimum 100 pass attempts):
Price - 138.9 (BENCH HIS BLACK ASS!!!!)
Moon - 134.9
Flick - 133.7
Hobert - 132.4
B. Huard - 131.3
D. Huard - 129.9
Pickett - 125.0
Cowan - 123.3
Stanback - 122.9
Tuiasosopo - 121.7
Locker - 119.0
Thanks for proving once again that Doogs hate stats and facts. The myth that Jake Locker was a legendary Husky is sickening. He was a white Stanback, at best (hi Golve!).
QB Career rushing yards:
1. Locker - 1,939
2. Tui - 1,495
3. Fitz - 854
4. Stanback 794
Rushing TDs (season):
#6 @ 13 tied with McElhenny and ahead of CP
Rushing TDs (career):
#3 all time in Husky history @ 29
Passing yards (career):
#2 all time @ 7,639
Passing yards /game:
#4 @ 191/gm (ahead of Price, Moon, Tui, Billy Jo, Tui)
Completions /game (career):
#2 @ 15.5
Int % (career):
#4 @ .0305 (ahead of Tui, Brock, Moon and Billy Jo)
Longest pass play:
#1, #6 & #9
Most 50+ passes:
tied @ #2
And I could go on and on. If you bring up the # of games argument, then I get to use the head coach and surrounding offensive talent (no ASJ or Kasen, etc)

Does he have a decent career, who knows? But pulling the plug after 1 season as a starter is a joke, especially considering the injuries. -
You've got to be fucking kidding me. Tavaras Jackson and John Skeleton have some highlight reel worthy throws as well. Do you realize Jake was ranked #32 (dead last) out of all starting QB's by Ron Jaworski, a man who does nothing but break down film?IrishDawg22 said:Perfect back shoulder throw. Hey this is easy:

Dumb as a bag of hammers

You do realize it was in response to his 1 pick 6 highlight, right???RoadDawg55 said:

Wow, "people" around here are funny. -

Everyone likes to talk up the "leader" of the team they just crushedIrishDawg22 said:
I bet every opposing head coach that went up against Jake would rate him above average as a COLLEGE QB. -
Not true. Lockner's last two years were slightly better than Price 2012.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
Shit Price 2012 was better than any Lockner season.He_Needs_More_Time said:
Those four quarterbacks actually demonstrated they could play quarterback competently in college.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
When did Lockner demonstrate that? Price in 2011 was better than Lockner ever was, and douchebags like you can't run Price out of the program fast enough.
Price in 2011 was amazing, especially just three years after 0-12.
Good call although Price had a better completion percentage Jake barely had a better rating plus rushing yards. I stand corrected.
Although if you hear Millen and Doogs talk they act like Jake's 2009/2010 were far superior to Price awful 2012 season. -
Damn I forgot to put this in my doog myths topic. Whenever a Doog can't argue his point using facts he'll passively aggressively mock you by stating "what do you know? Are you a head coach or GM? Yea that's what I thought".IrishDawg22 said:

But once again I will defer to your knowledge because I am sure you have a better handle on the game then most coaches. -
Do you follow Nascar? I usually only see this high level drafting at Daga or Daytona? Sure hope some of the top posters don't stop quickly, because your head is going to be inserted in a painful position.He_Needs_More_Time said:

Please, just 1 original thought. If you quit following along like a Zombie and repeating talking points, you just might stumble upon one. -
You've repeated every line from the Doog script. You even resorted to calling out a poster for not being an NFL GM when you couldn't respond to his facts.IrishDawg22 said:

Your level of pressing is exactly why banning Harv was stupid.
