Scoreboard. Jesus Christ, you're embarrassing yourself.RaceBannon said:Conner Halliday post of the day
Defense special teams and Shaq own the scoreboardLike I said after the Stanford game: Miles is who he is -- a proficient game manager. When you're able to run the ball, and your defense is keeping you in the game, Miles is good enough to win it for you. When those things aren't happening (which is hopefully rare), Miles is going to lose. And it will probably look pretty ugly.

If we want to beat UCLA, Miles has to see open receivers nearly without fail and take care of the ball. At Colorado, one of the fumbles wasn't his fault (Shaq didn't have his arms open wide enough on the exchange) but the other one was clearly his doing.

I would expect that UCLA is going to crowd the line and blitz the fuck out of us. That should open us up for a few down field passes as UCLA sells out to stop the run.
On defense, it starts with containing Hundley in the scramble game and abusing their OL that is terrible.
Field position, penalties, and which team can break one in the kicking game will be deciding factors in a low scoring game.
