    For the record uw never was a top 10 team for a decade But James went to 7 orange/rose bowls in 18 years. He won most of his bowl games and had an outstanding conference record. If you can't see that as a great track record and what these miserable and pathetic people are clamoring for then I can't help you.

    after starting off the season strong UW falters in pac12 play against TUFF opponents and then limps their way to a bowl game finishing just 3-5 in the last 8 games. Kraft fight the hunger bowl invites UW and Fresno St. when Sark secures his contract extension to keep him away from the NFL by beating Fresno St. 34-17. Sark finishes 8-5. worst case scenario.

    That is exactly how I see the season going too. I expect the doogs to be super annoying at the end of September and ignore that was the easy part of the schedule just like they did in 2011 when we started off 5-1.

    I still stand by my 8-5 should not be acceptable. Sadly though like others including myself have already stated 8-5 will get him a contract extension.

    If Sark loses the bowl game he'll become the first Husky coach to ever lose 3 consecutive bowl games.

    The OOC schedule is a joke in 2014. Eastern Washington, Illinois and Georgia Southern at home plus at Hawaii should be 4-0 rather easily.

    Hopefully we have a new head coach in 2014 but I know boy wonder will still be here "learning on the job".

    DJ had a career record of .698. Means he almost averaged seven wins every ten games. Or almost eight wins every 11 games, which was the usual season then.
    Average means sometimes less, and sometimes more. He had a lot of ten win seasons and a lot with 7. Those are math facts. Look it up.

    The worst thing about 8-5 to me is that it sets up 9-4 next year with an easy, 13 game schedule as being "progress".

    3 = the number of times DJ faced an WSU, Oregon or Oregon St team that was ranked during his career.

    And almost every year had the cupcake (San Jose St, Idaho, etc)

    These people would have crucified him for going 6-5, 5-6, 8-4 (on field) and 7-4.
    He won a Rose Bowl then popped off in year three. Plus wasn't getting plunger raped 3+ times a year or blowing 18 point leads to shitty rivals.
