Helfrich inherited a team that was 29-4 against Power 5 teams, that he was a coach of, and that they continue to run the same system and have the same philosophy.
Petersen inherited a team that went 16-15 against Power 5 teams that he was not a coach of, and that ran a culture/philosophy counter to his own and is still in the process of blowing everything up.
