Stop blaming Smith. Petersen is an offensive coach. This is the third year in a row his offense has been shit. I don't think it's an overreaction to say he's reached a crossroads in his career. Don James figured it out in the late 80's. If Petersen is as good as we thought he was, he will figure it the fuck out. Something isn't right and it goes beyond QB. He's also the one who hired Smith. Boise State's QB coach from last year is UW's offensive coordinator.
