Jim "Imminent Implosion" Mora stopped soft, jackass behavior (e.g. the UCLA tradition of practice-ditching) the day he started at UCLA.

Four years into Sark's regime, he still doesn't get it.

Having fun is what you do after you win a Rose Bowl and/or national championship and pop off.

Sark is what he is. What he should be is door.ass.out.

Maybe he likes being 7 win Steve. If he were to win 9-10 games the expectations would be even greater. Keep it to 7-8 wins collect about 3 million a year, keep the stadium 90% filled and you are cruising.

That is where Rick fucked up. He won a Rose Bowl year two so in year four when he went 7-6 it appeared to be a disaster and fans wanted him out.

While had he just shown incremental progress every year he'd probably still be coaching today.
Had Sark won 9 games last year, it would have bought him, bare minimum at least another two years and a total pass this season.
For all intensive purposes, he did win 9 games last year.
Damone is right we basically won 9 games last year. I don't know why these negative fans on here can't see the incremental progress that is being displayed on a yearly basis.

At the 2012 recruiting banquet Sark said we should have been 9-4. Was last years 9-4 > than 2011 9-4?

    2011 was never a mythical 9-4. 2011 was simply a better 7-6 than 2010 7-6. While last year was a 7-6 that was really a 9-4 > 2011 7-6 > 2010 7-6. #firepoolboy

Also people don't realize how close we were to being elite LAST year.

If Marvin Hall doesn't botch that punt it totally changes the landscape of the game and it would have probably gone down to a final possession.

If that IDIOT Keith Price didn't throw 2 picks against USC that is an easy win for us, sums up the season for the player who single handedly ruined what could have been special.

No way we would have lost at WSU if it wasn't for that moron Coons missing that field goal. Oh and also once again Keith Price fumbling in OT where we would have also won if it wasn't for that moment.

So we easily could have gone 10-2 and probably would have been on our way to a BCS game if it wasn't for a watered down QB, a couple mental lapses, and a terrible kicker.

Nothing beat an "almost" season. Makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
