    I hated a lot of what sark did for our program. But he did bring the USC tackle to UW. We weren't the best on defense, but we tackled real well the last few years. That's probably the only area that Peterson didn't have to rebuild.

    Feeney is the only exception to great tackling. Timu is a close second. The young secondary tackles surprisingly well. Budda Baker and Jones both made nice plays.

    Feeney is big hit or nothing. He just gives up on tackles if he can't drill someone. I was a big fan for a couple of years but he hasn't gotten better and I'm done with him. I think Timu is a lot better and still gets more flack than he deserves.

    Baker is a fucking stud. I'm excited as shit about how good he's going to be. It didn't show much early on this year, but he's improving fast as hell. He'll be the one getting the Shaq-like accolades within a year or two. I'm sure of it.

    You didn't watch many games then??? We never were in the right place, but when we were we usually made the tackle.

    You didn't watch many games then??? We never were in the right place, but when we were we usually made the tackle.
    I have been drunk for most of the last decade, but I recall our tackling being an abysmal joke under Holt, average at best under Wilcox, and finally improving this year under Kawasaki. Under Sark, it was terrible to marginal, never a strength. Tackling is steak, bubble screens are sizzle.
