So a defender, pursuing Ross, is unblockable? What the Fuck? That guy was chasing Ross when Perkins put his shoulder into him. That call was almost as bad as the Oregon onside kick recovery.
Peters gets away with lots of shit. You know that. But the refs suck baluts as always. We never know what they see because it's not what we usually see.
Watch the physical "coverage" that was allowed in the Stanford game last night and compare it to what Peters got called for. Kinda hard to determine what a DB can do from watching film of conference games.
That crackback bullshit was wrong in every way. It's really funny to see all the bullshit that went on there and realize that the final result of the play should have been UW ball at about the 50 where Ross got tackled.
we need coaches from other leagues (any league for gawd's sake) to ref our games - fire all of our shit officials and pay the other guys what we'd pay the PAC refs. At their best they are bad.
Is there any way to appeal this? How do you justify sitting him for the first half of Oregon?
Yes, the first half suspension can be overturned.
It looked so dangerous though. The announcers all said in this day and age of college football, if it looks dangerous, the referees are going to air on the side of caution...you know, to protect the athlete.

I had stopped watching. Was the ejection reviewed?

"Defenseless player" is an oxymoron.
