He's still a damn good developer of talent. He's never winning a natty (like basically every other coach in the Pac except maaaaaaaaybe Beat for Peterman), but if you can't see he's easily a top 3 coach in this conference I cunt help you.

If Shaw is easily a top 3 coach in this conference, the B1G is better than this conference.

What three coaches do you take over him?
Petersen Mora? RichRod? Graham?
I'm taking him over everybody but Petersen and probably Mora. I would take consistently TUFF teams that own the line of scrimmage that aren't managed well on gameday over soft teams that are managed great on gameday. He's basically the bizzarro Neuheisel.
Stanford's not dropping out of the top tier of the Pac anytime soon.
Would have run the ball every single play of this game, racked up 500 running yds, and won 56-0.
Shaw FS
Yeah maybe. But Harbaugh is a fucking dick. At least Shaw is a nice guy with a friendly smile.
Shaw's a smug asshole, Harbaugh's a pure asshole. Neither of them are particularly likable. Harbaugh's an incredible coach though, and Shaw's pretty good.
Harbaugh is not an incredible coach. He is a good coach.
And Shaw is average.
Harbaugh took over a 1-11 team and three years later was in a BCS bowl. That's incredible.
Maybe we have a different definition of incredible. I consider that type of a superlative to be reserved for the greats. He isn't in that category at this point.
Maybe if he had stayed and won a NC. Maybe if he wins a Super Bowl or two someday.

Chip Kelly has won neither a Super Bowl nor a national championship. Do you consider him to be incredible?
Comments
I did though.
