He would be a really good get. I like our young CB's but it would be great to add a veteran guy like Russell to the mix to replace Peters.

He was a very, very good CB for them the last few years. As a true frosh he was one of their better defensive players on the 2012 team that made the MNC game. Him replacing Peters would be huge.RoadDawg55 said:He would be a really good get. I like our young CB's but it would be great to add a veteran guy like Russell to the mix to replace Peters.

Has he been there 3 years?

So, he boned his tutor - big deal. As long as he's willing to come in, work hard, and buy into Petersen's system, then he's an OKG. I'm sure he learned his lesson (no pun intended) and he needs a second chance to redeem himself.Passion said:Has he been three years?
It will be the redemption story of the 2015 season... there won't be a dry eye. -
can't he just go pro?

Shit, that would've gained him street cred with the Joey's staff.PurpleBaze said:

He could. He's played two seasons and is sitting out this whole year. I have no idea what his stock is, but it takes a hit sitting out a season. I bet he's better off playing another season or two of college ball.HuskyJW said:can't he just go pro?

ND fans are hearing that all five are gone. Russell has been at ND for two years, so he could redshirt and transfer to UW with two years left or declare for the draft.
