Miles is not a drop back passer. He is slow in his progression of reads, he scrambles rather than steps up and delivers the ball, he flutters the ball out there in a girly fashion. He can't go deep.

I think the coaches need to back off with the three inch playbook, simplify the playbook for him and make him an option style QB on passing downs. Let him decide to run or pass and then tell him to do so as is warranted in that moment.

This is just about the best vote of confidence Miles could receive.

How does Miles' 4-1 career record as a starter compare to other Husky QBs in recent memory? Here are the records for the first five starts of every QB who has started at UW since 1990:

    Miles 4-1
    Lindquist 0-1*
    Price 3-2
    Fouch 0-5
    Lockner 2-3
    Stanback 1-4
    Bonnell 1-4
    Paus 0-5
    Pickett 4-1
    Tuiasosopo 2-3
    B. Huard 4-1
    Fortney 1-1*
    D. Huard 4-1
    Hobert 5-0
    Brunell 4-1

*Got fewer than five career starts. (No, I haven't forgotten Johnny Durocher and Ted Stark. Both got meaningful action, but neither ever started a game.)

It appears from ESPN's game recap that Bonnell started:
Both Washington quarterbacks were banged up. Bonnell left late in the first quarter with a right thigh bruise, but returned in the third quarter after DuRocher was knocked out with a concussion. DuRocher was 1-for-9 with two interceptions and Bonnell was 10-of-35 for 118 yards and an interception.

Thank you. I remember DuRocher getting knocked out so I thought he had started.

But Miley Cyrus is the worst quarterback since Paus.

Miley suffering from CTE yet? His lack of progress is very disturbing.

That was the first game he's started against a team that actually showed up and wasn't terrible. He hasn't had a chance to have any progress.

Byu tried for at least a half, and UCLA wasn't terrible. Good qbs either have it or they don't.

He didn't start vs either of those teams.

Mariota's first start against Stanford. I guess he's one of those guys that doesn't have it.

Huh? Bowl game? And 21-37 for 207 + 89 yards rushing is leap years ahead of whatever the fuck Myler produced on Saturday.

Price threw 22 passes in the bowl game and Miley threw 5. Get some facts and then get back to me.

Ur a tard. His deepball is his greatest asset next to his legs. Where you guys get this shit? And you cant step up in pocket when your receivers cant get off the LOS and there's no fucking pocket to step into

It was a game we'd all rather forget. Although this stat is kinda fun in hindsight:
    Top Performers
    Passing: T. Ostrander (STAN) - 206 YDS, 1 TD
    Rushing: A. Kimble (STAN) - 11 CAR, 35 YDS
    Receiving: R. Sherman (STAN) - 6 REC, 177 YDS, 1 TD
