I'm semi serious on Troy but I had a feeling for real on Billy Joe Hobart. I was the only Husky fan tha saw the Brunell injury for the blessing in disguise it was. Hobart was a fucking winner

Troy Williams better be spending the next 7-10 days building enough confidence in the coaches to give him a chance ... Miles and Lindquist have shown that there is a very small likelihood that they can be conference championship contending QBs.
Williams had 6 months to show that he was better than dumb and dumber, and didn't
Players improve ...

Lindquist and Miles will improve, too. And they were ahead of Williams to begin with.
Miles sucked horse cock today, but I'm willing to see how he does against UCLA, ASU, Oregon, etc. before calling for his head. And he doesn't throw interceptions, which is what Williams apparently struggles with.
He's better than Price though, cuz he's a dual threat...
Price would have died on the field before halftime, the way the o-line was playing
The oline really wasn't that bad. Miles flushed from plenty of clean pockets and held the ball too long

Bullshit. Bleenor knew it too, so don't go trying to steal all the thunder.
That's why 2013 was supposed to be THE YEAR. We had a RS-SR QB, were pretty veteran on the OL / front 7, and had great skills guys. Heck, we even had a veteran secondary and specialists.
We have some of those elements back but it's the QB that's the biggest step back because Price was willing / able to take shots after delivering the ball and usually got happy feet for a reason.
Until we fix that (Miles' happy feet and inconsistent accuracy), we may not even win 5 conference games. Thank the gods we have a bye week rather than heading on the road to play even an average team.

I didn't think the OL was that bad, especially with C. Shelton at RT. They weren't great and missed some stunts but it seemed like the RBs missed a couple of blitz pick-ups.
Miles didn't make them look any good because he'd get happy feet after his first read. I can't recall an instance when he hit his 2nd or 3rd read in the pocket...he did when scrambling but Stanford clearly gave him happy feet early and often.
Don't know if you're trying to whoosh or not but I'd be shocked if Miles doesn't get at least 1 half against the loose anus of a defense Cal has to get back on track.
We can only hope Riva is back by then and KW is full go in 2 weeks.
