Greg Byrne, Arizona's AD is a real up and comer. He earned very good reviews when he came on board there and used Arizona's early season slide in 2011 (behind a brutal schedule) to can Stoops who was a fucking clown. Stoops was a mediocre coach and good enough for a mediocre program but Byrne made the right choice and Rich Rod won 8 games his first season.
He's a young guy, his father is a lifelong AD, he has ties to the NW & South.....this is the type of guy who would perfect for rebuilding UW's football program.

I'd trade Byrne for Woodpecker in a heartbeat. Arizona, the basketball school, takes football more seriously than Washington. Oh, and they won the baseball NC last year.
