Maybe I'm Doogin' It but am pretty excited about this guy. Hips are loose and fluid (obligatory).

He's actually a very good athlete and fast...invariably arrives at the ball with extremely edgy intentions.

You are doogin' it, so FY.

But FM because I'm slightly doogin it too. The kid is fast and hits hard, so if we can make him another Victor Aiyewa or Travis Feeney, then it's all good.

Aiyewa is a good comparison. Too bad Ben Hurr is white so it's irrelevant.

Ben Hurr reminds me of a combination of JJ Watt and Eminem

He's also a lunch pail, blue collar, max effort kid who is very cerebral on the field.

Shower or fridge? I'll reserve judgment until I hear. It will be interesting either way.

    Yup, just loke Garrett Gililland

    Yup, just loke Garrett Gililland

PLSS mentioning Gilliland reminded me that he started as a true freshman MLB when we played against Nebraska. When researching to confirm this being true (it is, he played in 12 of the 13 games as a true frosh), I noticed GoHuskies had this blurb on Sark:
"one of 14 true freshman to play this season"
And people wonder why we have issues with depth? Then again, if Kim were here, he'd be telling us every team in the country has depth issues and that Sark's recruiting and redshirting practices have nothing to do with it.

    A halfbrain hero

Many athletes use pre-workout powder before games. Some use adderall

Then there's Cort D and his keg of cheap beer

I liked Dennison as a solid Pac-10 player. Decent athlete, played hard, hit hard, played with passion.

Ben Hurr won't play ILB at the next level but he is a much better athlete and faster. Plus he has offers from ASU (great LB play the last few years), Arizona, Utah, BSU, and a few others.

Another potential upside? He just turned 17 about two weeks ago so he won't even be 18 until he's already been at UW a month or so (ideally redshirting but could see PT on ST).

Two of his best plays come at the 1:01 and 1:12 marks...reminds me of the relentless play of DJ coached LBs...flying around, disrupting offenses, hair on fire, etc.

Check out the fluidity of his fluid hips here:
