I don't think Peterson takes the job at SC even if offered. But the way it's been hashed out, sounds like the interview with Haden was awkward for both sides which is an indicator that Pete, indeed, does not get USC. At least in the eyes of the man making decisions. It always starts at the top. You want good athletic programs? Get a good AD.
