UW currently has 125 of the 350 million they wanted to raise for the Go Big fund. If you extrapolate the 125 million out 5 years they’ve shrunk the 1/2 share gap by 25 million per season. It’s really been a great bit of fundraising. If Fish is doing his negotiations right, he should be asking for a chunk of that money to pay his players. Equity be damned. Football is king, Judd knows it and hopefully Chum does as well.

So we are kicking our gap can down the street but it’ll still eventually come due. Maybe that’s fine if you can spread a 3-4 year revenue gap onto like 15 years out something and you aren’t paying interest.

There was a time when UW was beating tOSU at Husky Stadium. There was a time when 'Bama mostly sucked and was flailing with their coaching hires until they struck gold with Saban.

Agreed. Just because they are a mess right now doesn't mean they will still be a mess in 2026 or 2027.
I think the mess hurts them more now but if they get their AD sorted out (and maybe their President), things will start to fall in place.
They do have Larry Ellison more interested due to his young girlfriend being a Michigan grad. It would be nice if a Seattle area billionaire decided to donate $10 million or more.
