Most companies wouldn't take on the security risk of mapping external users unless it was guaranteed to go through 3rd party auth.
This entire situation is why federated login stuff exists, why I cried about it, and why I ultimately had to do it.

Body is 38212 characters too long. I can guarantee you that the body is never more than two hundred damned characters long.

When I took the test site for a test run, I did not run into that issue. So I'm 99% sure that will be a thing of the past.
