Good? Bad?

If I'm being honest, probably for the best. Does feel overarching but you know there are now states in the US where its tougher now to access porn. That said if it doesn't include Reddit, these rules are probably pointless. Test scores of US children with the vast implementation of smart phones has led to lower scores.

Minimum age is fine. Shitloads of age restricted activities. Hopefully this is data based relative to brain and social development. Perhaps kids might even not be pre diabetic and obese before middle school getting away from their screens
Ideally, parents would have some input or control. Maybe easing in with time restrictions starting at age 12 or 13.
Once the little fucks turn 18 or whatever, the gubmint should fuck the fuck off

I would be fine if all social media platforms were banned.
People can make the town square argument all they want, but Twitter / X and all these other things are a net negative for a functioning society.
-
Disagree
X triggers team tard because it breaks the monopoly of mainstream bullshit media
Everything has a downside but it's a net positive

100% going to use it as a backdoor to censorship of political speech and many here are already falling for the Trojan horse.
Exactly what the UK did and why they are now locking up almost 2,000 people a year for political memes.

We good.

The toothpaste is out of the tube, but you cannot convince me that our society functions better in a world where people isolate themselves in an echo chamber.

Society was better with three TV stations top 40 AM radio and AOR FM radio
Shared culture

This is a safe space. Show us where Reddit touched you.

I saw a report yesterday, FM radio is going the way of the dodo in all new Tesla and GM cars... No more free airwaves . 🤔
