The program will take a step forward next year

In the past, I would generally say giving a coach three years makes sense if he shows improvement in years one and two. And you can make a case that Fisch has done that. The roster is better this year than last, and the record is as well.
But I don't buy it anymore. He hasn't done enough. The ability to turn around rosters quickly is proven, and he hasn't done enough — especially when it comes to the offensive line. And his stubbornness when it comes to the offense he thinks he's trying to run, and his inability to pull off any wins of significance tells me I've seen plenty after 25 games.
That's enough.

Time to bring in the guy that can win with the alleged better talent
But who can we get that's better?
When they trot that one out…
Let's find out. Its better than hoping Fisch can win 8 games and leave
Full retardation

I don't disagree. But what Fisch calls an NFL offense would absolutely get demolished by NFL defensive coordinators. He's nowhere near that level of a playcaller/coordinator.

Everyone says it’s terrible optics to fire a coach who is 8-4 in year two. Not sure why we all agreed that is true. It also shows you are serious about having high expectations and big dick winners only need apply.
-
It's irrelevant, he isn't getting fired at UW for 8-4 now or next year.
The real question is what record gets him shown the door next year?
-
Probably 6-6 or worse.
Maaaaybe 7-5.
I dont think the athletic department could live with the dwindling enthusiasm and money those records would bring.
-
6-6 is more realistic than 10-2.
Just saying.
-
If you fire Jedd now for 8-4, we're on our 5th HC in an 8 year span.
Call me old fashioned, but that's not a great look.
-
Neither is the product on the field
-
Optics are for losers.
