I appreciate the concluding thoughts about still cheering for a win. I think some lost sheeple see the OG half brains being pissy about poor performance/standards and take that as a cue to only be negative to the point of hoping they lose so the can wallow in it.

Call me a doog but I told myself in the depths of the 2000s that I would appreciate any kind of winning at UW. Even just getting back to a bowl game. I still think you need to maintain a high bar but I can still get joy out of blowing out a cellar Big 10 team, especially one that had shown fight against good opponents throughout the year. They weren't like a Pac-12 bad Colorado team.

I can’t ever imagine finding any pleasure with a UW loss, even when I believe the coach isn’t the right guy.
Also have a hard time believing a UW fan would get any pleasure with an L although it might prove a point. At the core we are all diehard dawgs here. Might be like taking a bet against the dawgs and although you want to win the game, if they lose at least you won some cash. -
I cheered against Ty at the end because I couldn’t stand him and wanted him to wear 0-12 forever.
