Adam Jood?

Is the corrrect spelling of Condooga's successor "Adam Jood?" From the Times' Blog:

Catching up on links, CBSsports.com has projected over/under win totals for Pac-12 teams this season. The Huskies over/under? 7.5. And the author, Chris Huston, isn’t picking the “over.”

Huston also notes that this might be Steve Sarkisian’s “last chance to show he can get it done in Seattle.” That seems a bit extreme to me. For the team and fans, the goal is, and should be, to improve upon three consecutive 7-6 seasons, but even if the team falls short of those lofty goals this season, it seems premature to be talking seriously about Sarkisian’s job security.

Premature? A real program wouldn't have hired him in the first place

you know what's better than three consecutive 7-6 seasons? Four consecutive 7-6 seasons...said no one ever.

LOFTY goals?!? Trying to improve on consecutive 7-6 records is considered to be a lofty goal nowadays? What the hell... We're screwed if that's the type of mindset & level of expectations that our fans and media have. Oh, that's right, this IS the mindset & level of expectation of the average Husky fan & media nowadays.

Our football program is doomed to mediocrity until expectations are raised by the AD, fans and local media. Hiring a Duck (who I'm sure would love to see the Huskies keep sucking) wasn't a good start.

I recall some hearsay about a duck being some Times person of influence (sports editor or something?). Regardless it is up to the fans. We control what happens. If the AD doesn't meet our expectations it is up to us to run the AD out of town. The media is irrelevant in all this other than shaping the opinions of weak-minded fans. Other fans can do that as well.

Agreed and also up to the fans who donate the most money. Many are saying Sark is safe but Hedges publicly endorsed Lambo then the big money guys made her make the change shortly thereafter.

If you cant see we've gone from 4 to 3 plunger rapes in two years then I can't help you. If that continues at the same pace we'll have no plunger rapes in 2018.

Hey back off. You should all be nicer to our new premium partner.

Plus he went mountain climbing to celebrate #SarkDay. WTF did any of you degenerates who hide behind a screen name in your parents' basement do? Consider yourselves warned.

"Jood" is only interested in access to the program. He's a duck version of lil Kim with multiple motives for doing his part to keep expectations down. Another great hire by the Seattle TImes.

Look at the comments section of the ST Blog. Plenty of readers ripped into the lofty goals comment. Unfortunately, many of them said 8 wins was a realistic expectation.

Since the over has paid the last three years, any smart bookie would change it to 7. Or maybe the field.
