A Hardcore Husky O.G. sells the couch

IF referring to his health views, consider that his personal health being turned upside down at a young age probably put him in a place that few here will ever experience and I'm sure influenced what he chose to research and talk about. Even if you thought some of the MAHA stuff was off-base, you had to cut the guy slack because he was going through some real life shit and trying like hell to overcome the odds.

I suspect @pawz got a great deal of entertainment value out of the seed oils wars with yours truly.
-
very sorry to hear this. Pawz was by all accounts a very good guy and someone I communicated with regularly via PM about a variety of things not HCH related.
-
I didn't know of his passing until I listened to the podcast today.
I never met him in person, but feel like I know him well, just from my yearly gambling threads in the 'Wam.
I noticed that his chins from my threads had stopped recently, as had his nearly daily emails to me with different ideas and betting strategies. He had recently been working on different ideas for betting baseball and had been bouncing his ideas off of me.
I told him if he focused on baseball next year, I'd keep giving him info for football. We agreed that was the plan. He never let on that his health was failing.
Every gambling thread that I started in the 'Wam, he followed and supported.
He was a total stranger to me, but I'm desperately going to miss my interactions with him.
Thanks Pawz!!!

Lost a real one. Lots of pm's and dm's between us. @DerekJohnson please let us know if we can send flowers or anything to the family.

I don't want to get off topic in pawz's thread but let me just say that I'm not a tuff guy key board warrior and my policy is my policy. It's not right or wrong; it's just my policy.
-
No, I'm not referring to you specifically being an "internet tuff guy". You've almost always been nothing but a gentleman and a scholar type philosopher king, except that one time you tried to bully me when I first started on this site. More so this is a critique of the no meet ups policy.

I have taken several walks on the beach since that time and have come to feel shame about my prior behavior.
I still have a little shit talk in me but I work hard every day to suppress that guy.
It is amusing to see the next gen come in hot and talk shit. Reminds me of my salad days. They, too, will walk the beach one day and see the folly in angry and hurtful exchanges over tedium.
The one exception to my new-found maturity is Roadie's retarded take on Sean Taylor. That I do not forgive. Though I am glad to see him back here.
-
I also remember you flying off the handle at criticism of Jeremy Shockey
-
I am very glad Roadie is back but I also hope he takes a walk on the beach to find the same perspective about Sean Taylor.
