Cracks me up watching him talk to these clowns. Watch today's press chat and you can see clearly that inside he is thinking: "There are a thousand other things I'd rather be doing."

    I don't get the impression he minds talking to them, but make no mistake, he controls the narrative. The man is a professional, through and through, no rah rah BS, just tells it like it is, and has a dry sense of humor. When he asked who's decision it was to close practices, without hesitation he said the decision was his. When asked why, he said, with a bit of a smile, "to not put you guys in such a hard position", referring to seeing guys injured and/or not playing and the urge some of those idiot sticks have to report that sort of thing.     People who enjoy talking to the press will often provide long answers to questions that often don't say anything. They will offer personal stories or even make an occasional joke. You can tell that they enjoy the back-and-forth.

    Petersen clearly does not enjoy the process. He isn't a jerk, but he just clearly has no time for this, and would rather do other things.

    That's your opinion Passion, but I disagree.

    I don't get the sense that Peterson minds talking to the media. I watched that 30 minute presser the other day and I saw a professional answering questions, always in control, speaking clearly and succinctly, and at times smiling. He's not a bullshitter, but that does not mean he dislikes talking to them. He's sincere and doesn't say something unless he means it. It's goddamn fresh IMHO. I really like this guy the more I see, hear and read about him. I'm convinced he's the real deal, a grown up and a real leader. It's been a very long time since someone like that has been in charge of the Huskies Football team.
