Michigan looks bad on D.

DAWGS are beating Michigan

Michigan looks bad on D, but that’s nothing compared to how atrocious they look on offense.

Coming back from Trooj game now. Michigan totally outclassed. Easily could have been even more lopsided with how SC moved the ball. Washington offense is going to roll.

lots of doogery in this thread. Same kind that thought UW would give Ohio State a game.
I would have given UW a better chance next week if Michigan had beaten SC. Huskies aren’t winning a 9 am game in the big house after Wolverines are humiliated by trooj
cook it

It’s going to be a tough game. A win would be big. Wisconsin playing Michigan fairly close is another sign that Michigan isn’t very good this year. They still have talent and it is a tough road game. It is a very winnable game if we perform well.

The negativity is just unfounded in a lot of ways …
This team is where they are supposed to be at this point in the season.
Saying that UW's run defense isn't good is not supported by the data …
UW's run defense on the year is giving up 3.1 yards per carry … that's top 25 in the country going into the day
UW hasn't been gashed on the ground at any point through 6 games with Ohio State averaging 4.4 yards per carry against UW as the high water mark
Rutgers ran for 4.0 yards per carry on Friday but that was all driven by the 51 yard run on the 1st drive … take that out of the equation and UW gave up 56 yards on 26 carries … you'd take that every game
Nobody is claiming that this is an elite defense and there are obvious areas where the talent can be upgraded going forward. But what this defense is doing well outside of its run defense:
- It's generally not giving up big plays - we're giving up on average about 2 plays a game 20 yards or longer
- We're doing a good job of keeping teams out of the end zone in the red zone - opposition is scoring TDs at just over 50% of possessions
- Turnover margin is at +5 through 6 games … with a healthy Davis there is room for this to improve given that we take care of the ball on offense
We're giving up on average just under 20 points per game …
If we continue to do that with what this offense is capable of doing then UW is going to have a chance to win every game remaining on their schedule

HB is the most 2009 dwelling battered noog of all time lol

if you get up early, you will roll them by 14+. Michigan is the same as last year—incapable of playing from behind. Force them to throw and they’re extremely uncomfortable.

I’ll be happy if it’s a 3 point game at half vs Michigan
