Both Indiana and Iowa 9am games last year got away from UW after halftime. This team is a full step up better than 2024. I think if they play a clean game they’ve got a great shot. Michigan is similar to Iowa. As someone said, can’t fall behind 10 or 20 to nothing. They’ll shorten the game and you’ll never catch them. I also like that for some reason Michigan doesn’t have a bye. What’s with that?

UW is also fortunate to have an extra day of prep while Michigan has to fly back today from USC. Justice Haynes didn't play the 2nd half and one of their DTs left the game with an ankle injury.
Michigan's best WR is a true frosh (Andrew Marsh, who Kevin Cummings tried to pry away from Michigan), their 2nd WR is kind of 6'5" JAGy type, and their TEs aren't as good as 2023. I only watched about a quarter of the game (in the 2nd half) but was surprised at how middling they looked at all positions other than Andrew Marsh. I am a Justice Haynes believer but he might still be injured.
Of course they were on the road and their fans know they'll need to rally against UW and be ridiculously loud to get the win or else their season will slip further away.

We never beat Michigan at the Big House, and I wasn’t planning on it this season, but…..
Michigan sucks. On defense, put Prysock and Taco on islands and stack the box, and win
On offense, don’t wait until the 3rd qtr to get rolling, roll Demond out, screens, Sears and Roebuck and take deep shots to Boston
I actually expect us to win, kinda Doogy but if we’re ever going to win in Ann Harbor, this is a good opportunity.
-
Just tryna keep it real among all the fish-loving doogs who have taken over this once hallowed ground

I think a lot of the negativity is a defense mechanism so people can feign happiness when/if Fisch leaves.
-
You try being a Husky fan and Raider fan for the last 30 years and tell me the negativity is unfounded. If there's a way for the league or some retarded duck affiliate to fuck the Raiders or Hiskies, it's happening.
-
Maybe win a game you’re supposed to lose and quit losing games to teams you should beat.
At this point, Fisch has only proven he’s an underachiever. -
UW football is not respected as it should be. Fuck the libtarded billionaires in Seattle for not supporting the program. UW should be top 10 every year. Georgia football is in fucking Athens that has almost nothing going for it outside a few bars and bands.
-
Fisch hasn’t lost any games this year he was supposed to win. He has 2 more chances to win a game he shouldn’t. He recruits well and is a high floor play caller and the players seem to like playing for him. He has handled Demond really well to this point. Im not sure where he’s really underachieved at Washington outside of the applecup and maybe Rutgers last year and the 2024 roster was really bad. not saying he’s the second coming of DJ or anything but there is probably a better than 50/50 chance the next coach is not as good.
-
Look, if Fisch finds a way to beat Michigan, I’ll be impressed. But the ledger after 19 games is not in the black.
-
In his defense, his 1st season was played with St. Mary's of the Poor talent. Deboner fucked the Dawgs. He must have hated Seattle and his daughter.

Playing at the Big House will be hard and a struggle to win. I don't actually expect a win but I think it is a very winnable game.
These long road trips are pretty brutal for college players.
Even Ohio St. struggled early at UW with a bye week's preparation.
Nonetheless, this UW team has learned toughness with their schedule and they should be able to play very well.
-
or they want them to fire the coach so they can pick up the Indiana coach or Deboer
-
Michigan sucks. Oregon has won at the Big House multiple times in the last 20 years, including last year.
I'm hearing Oregon is an Astroturf program. Fake. Fraud. If true, I'd be embarrassed if my program couldn't win at Michigan.
-
Every UW game this year has been a struggle.
-
"The Guy" goes into the big house and beats an unranked Michigan with an extra day of prep.
That's my expectation, what are you going to do Fisch?
-
We won games we weren’t supposed to win last year, and it was still a shitty season.
-
We look vulnerable on defense because we don’t have depth or much talent along the front 4. Need to recruit edge and IDL much better. The backend is great and has really made it hard for people to score.
I will say that Bryce Butler is starting to look like a game wrecker. Excited to see him take over next year! -
Assuming there isn’t a mass exodus after the season the portal additions should be pretty small so hopefully they can spend a little bigger for more immediate impact type guys. They need a bonafide edge rusher to go opposite Lane (expensive), one big gap stuffing DL (moderately expensive) and a CB2 (moderately expensive) to play opposite Robinson. Everywhere else seems pretty decent and with young/talented players or promising talent waiting in the wings. Maybe a BIG bodied WR if Justice Williams can’t fill that role and House might be back on the market. If he’s not burned too many bridges here he’d be a nice addition to the rotation at LB. 4-5 high end additions is preferable to 12-15 just to fill roster depth. I hope that’s the case in January.
