That said, I do think that putting "history" in as part of the intro is important. Don't forget that you're hosting recruits for these games and part of the story/messaging that you're making to them is that Warshington is historically a very very good program.
There is a right and wrong way to do that though

I love most things about Seattle but the rap scene around here is straight up cringe.
Way too many acts to choose from to need to resort to that guy.

Most mainstream Seattle rap, such as Macklemore, sucks donkey. But apparently there's been a good underground rap/hip hop scene in the area for quite a while now. I didn't realize it either until fairly recently. And then there's guys like Jake One, who's been around since the early 90s, who's legendary in the hip hop scene.
