I like to nitpick...

Two complaints this week:
- The intro featuring Lawyer Milloy. They are trying too hard. We're not trying to make an episode of Yellowstone, here. It is just not good - at all. Does nothing to get crowd going. Love the guy, but he is hard to hear because of the nature of his voice. And then they roll into Alice in Chains, which in theory - I agree with. But they pick a somewhat low-key song. It's a great song, just not a stadium entrance song. Ideally, if they want to get the stadium pumped up, they'll just make the obvious choice and do Smells Like Teen Spirit. Even the young kids understand the significance of that sound.
- The E1 tailgate parking Nazis. "I just need you to move your car over about 8" more, please." I think I'm just going to start saying NO to these guys and see if they just walk away. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything and leave an extra spot, but I'd like to be able to open my car door. However they're training these guys needs work. That said, tailgate was on point this week.
New Tailgate Gear Item of the Season - this drink cooler. Highly recommend.

Nirvana transcends generations and fits sport pump up music while being the most well known Seattle band ever. It's not that hard
-
Alice in Chains is a million times better than Nirvana. Are they still doing Main in the Box? If so you guys are retarded for that take
-
Yes, man in the box…not to start Grunge Holy Wars, but Smells Like Teen Spirit is an infinitely better entrance song than Man in the Box.
-
Agree the intro is way too fucking long and focused on history. Hype up the guys that are actually playing and keep it short and sweet.
It's kind of a cool problem to have that we have several local musicians to debate over for an intro song. I have always wondered how jacked a grunge some from the early-90s gets a team of current college football players though.

F the local bands

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis: Same Love
J/k although the Seattle community would fill the seats, if you will
-
My real issue is the Lawyer Milloy part. It needs changing before season is over. I am embarrassed for tOSU fans to see this.
-
Nirvana is part of pop culture in a way teenagers still know and Alice in chains is not
-
Took the light rail home for the CSU game. Hard pass. Shit show.
-
the guitar riff in Man in the Box is awesome and it fits a tunnel walk out.
Smells like teen spirit might be a great hype up song for the mens intramural volleyball team in 1992
