"So what eventually put Washington over the top in Roberts’ mind? “The coaching staff,” he said. “They are super-awesome guys. All of them.”

And his future offensive line coach, Chris Strausser? “He is so well-rounded and he doesn’t have a big temper and I think he connects with his kids really well,” Roberts said.

How did first year UW Head Coach Chris Petersen take the news of Roberts’ decision to stay home? “He was so fired up and so happy and everything,” Roberts said.

Roberts will start out at tackle at Washington, and doesn’t have a preference whether it be left or right tackle. “I just want to play,” he said.

When asked if he thinks Bellevue is becoming a pipeline, he said all you have to do is look at the numbers. “I think so,” he said. “I think there is. I really do. I think it’s the coaches.”

So, the OL coach "doesn't have a big temper," and "he connects with kids really well." Kinda like cozzetto.
