Petersen first head coach to ever win his UW debut game on the road. I didn't realize this and it got me thinking: has any new UW head football coach come here with higher expectations upon him than Pete?

It's rare for a coach at UW to win their first game home or away. Lambright did it vs. Stanford. That's the only other one in my lifetime. I think Owens tied his first game.

By the way, who lead the chants at Owens funeral in 2009? In think sark was coach. Did he let us down ?

Neuheisel would probably be the closest, but no, no coach has had higher expectations.
