If you put him in, you have to put in Eli and Fill Simms
Simms only won a single SB. Hostetler QBed the second as Simms was injured. I’m not putting in Hoss, Simms, Flacco, Brad Johnson, McMahon, Rypien, or Trent Dilfer for any reason.
One SB is a fluke; two against the GOAT with two game-winning drives is HoF material plus Eli’s counting stats put him there. Without two SBs, I’m a no on him.
I have no problem with Eli and think he’s a certain HoFer.
I'm assuming he played well, but he's objectively awful to watch and works because they have the best OL and best skill player in the league. When he didn't have that my Bucks worked him.
A lot of quarterbacks are good athletes and can run, can only throw the ball in the straight line 100 mph and have to exist off of just RPO. He isn't the first nor last QB to be that.
I was too young for Plunkett. I have vague memories of him during Seahawk/Raider games in the mid 80s, but he seems like a "guy who had some "mid; seasons but stepped up in big moments and won big games. It's hard to compare stats since back then 58% was a great completion percentage while now it'll get you benched.

Jim Plunkett of my Raiders is the all-time champ in the racial diversity SB QB competition.
Native American and Hispanic with two Super Bowl wins yet my man still can’t get into the Hall of Fame.
Nor can his Hispanic coach Tom Flores who was also a Raiders quarterback
Flores coached 2 super bowl wins

Yeah, I forgot about Simms's injury.
