Can't make this stuff up

"Kind of sounds like the way Don James used to win games." "they have stumbled upon the right formula. Now it's up to them to hone it, refine it, perfect it, and turn their weaknesses into strengths."

After CP's first game as head coach on the road @ Hawaii: Petersen Plays It Too Safe
"Petersen should take a cue from the Don James playbook of man management and act as if their starting quarterback has always been there and game plan for them to win the game, instead of making sure they just don’t lose it." "the Washington Huskies clearly weren’t prepared for what they saw from the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in their 17-16 win that qualifies as a very small step in the right direction - but not much more than that." "Petersen showed little of the bravado, creativity, toughness, and heart that exemplified his 92-12 coaching career at Boise State. If anything, his body language - that of a caged lion pacing up and down the sidelines - suggested he wasn’t entirely sure of his team’s preparation."

Conclusion: Sark winning with a vanilla game plan was just like Coach Don James and Chris Petersen was unprepared and shit the bed on the road against Hawaii.
BTW: UW gave up more points (27 vs 16) total yards (504 vs 424) and gained less offensive yards (250 vs 336) at home vs EWU in 2011. The EWU QB also set the record for most pass yards (473) in Husky Stadium history

I remember that Eastern game being a pathetic performance, but I didn't remember it being THAT bad. Easily worse than the shit we(excluding Sven) were exposed to last night. We were never in imminent danger of losing last night. Too bad Trufant made that pick, or we might have been rid of Stevie Two Chins earlier.

Edit: Chris Polk was a senior RB and UW had less rushing yards against EWU (148 vs 174). Just like JL, Price was making his first career start and UW had less passing yards (102 vs 162). Price was obviously much more accurate but the point is both offenses were playing vanilla. CP gets called out for it and Sark gets credit for coaching like DJ.

What a pile of horseshit. Preparation had nothing to do with Lindquist not being able to complete a fucking pass. They fell behind 10-0 made a few adjustments then scored 17 straight. Then in the second half Lindquist couldn't complete a fucking pass and the defense was on the field for most of the half. With Miles UW wins going away.

No doubt Petersen wasn't entirely sure of his team's preparation. He is not stupid and arrogant like Sark. I am not worried about the media duplicity and its bias toward Sark. I doubt Petersen is either.purpledoogfan said:Fetters editorial after Sark and UW were a Trufant pick away from losing @ home against EWU in Sarks 3rd season: Sark knows there's work to be done

No agenda ... nothing to see here ... just move on

But how is Chris Fetters a hack writer?

HuskyClausFS actually said that the EWU game was a totally different situation than Saturday's game because Keith Price was making his first start as a RS Sophomorepurpledoogfan said:Edit: Chris Polk was a senior RB and UW had less rushing yards against EWU (148 vs 174). What's funny is I remember sark that game saying he was way too conservative himself. That's why they came out with tons of vertical passes against Hawaii the next week and jumped on them early as our dropped pass strategy on defense held on late for the victory.
That would only be fetters job to remember that shit but who's paying attention. -
yeah but, Eastern has playoffs

One of the best researched poasts we've had here at Hardcore Husky.
Good work purpledoogfan. -
That poast needs to make its way up on to the boreds over KJV's North Korea.
But maybe not, those fuckers hate facts.
