For those paying attention, undocumented aliens are ALREADY here. They comprise significant shares of the construction and agricultural workforce. The choices are between disrupting those and other industries by forcibly removing them or not.
You’ve chosen Daddy. Unless he was lying to you (which is always in the cards), we’re gonna see a lot of economic disruption. But it’s the “good” economic disruption now, I’m sure you’ll tell us.
It's at this point, democrats start to worry about inflation
Unlike the Lockstep Leftists, I can disagree with the person I voted for, and my inflation worry is Trump trying to artificially lower interest rates to promote short-term growth. It’s not a good idea, IMO, to flood the economy with that much money.
While AI can automate certain tasks, it is unlikely to completely replace human workers in the foreseeable future. Farming is complex and requires a level of judgement, problem-solving, and adaptability that AI currently cannot match.
Please help us all by not eating for the foreseeable future.
Still, it does amuse me when the "Drill Baby Drill"/"green energy will never be feasible"/anti-vax crowd suddenly thinks STEM majors are gonna fix everything instantly.
