What the fuck is it with you and Lindquist? He sucks. That was Hawaii we were playing if you didn't notice. He couldn't complete a pass in the second half.
he will very likely finish his career at UW as 1-0 as a starter. We are truly fucked if we need him for a game against a good to great defense.
And I don't want to see him in relief.
Lindquist was given a great opportunity with conservative, confidence building play calling in the first half, but all he did the second half was remove all remaining doubt about his inability to QB the Huskies. However, he did show some durability by returning to game after getting bloodied up from his shitty play, but he wasn't unified or competitive. Must not be an OKG.
Keith Price had great instincts - would run intentionally to an open spot with the intention to throw the ball to the WR getting separation. Lindquist just scrambles and then throws an air ball sort of by a WR. He needs to add some sanity and purpose to his scrambling, otherwise he's going to have a bunch of random 15 yard sack losses, mixed with those air balls.
If Lindquist came in and shot the lights out, fine. Put the Boy Scout in. But he played like absolute shit. Miles fucked up. We get it. But he'd have to have done something far worse (dead hooker?) than what he did to make us want to watch Lindquist for a season. Would Hugh seriously play Lindquist for the entire season, effectively penalizing the other players who did nothing wrong?

"So you're going to hand the reigns over to the quarterback who had the superbowl incident."
Yes, yes we are going to fucking do that.
